Testimonies

You can read here the testimonies of the participants of the Erasmus Intensive Program.

  1. Bryan dit :

A small group of young and not so young, of experienced in digital literature and not so experienced, gathered in Madrid for what would become a three week endeavor of brain storming and « tapa » savoring that would have graphic designers, programmers, poets, wannabe poets and just artists in general wondering what in god’s name does « profondeur de dispositif » mean and how do I get to the city centre from here.

The chance to meet very talented teachers and students is a given, but bring a large cup of coffee with you or get a good night sleep the night before because the daily injection of information can have you questioning the very fabric of space and time. It’s not every day that you get a chance to learn from the best in the field of Digital Literature!

Make friends, learn from them, share with them, go out with them and why not…even create something fun with them. Learn some Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Italian, French, English, Catalan…and while your at it…even some Spanish sharing a good time with some new found friends. The journey is one you will remember and cherish for a long time.

The teachers are passionate and the content is intense. You may not be at home but you will feel at home …but most unquestionably you will learn that when different cultures and professional backgrounds come together, literature becomes what it was meant to be…but like a good book, you’ll only get from it what you put into it.

« Are You Experienced? » (The Jimi Hendrix Experience, 1967)
Probably not enough. Then you should not miss the opportunities the course in 2013 is trying to offer you!
You will surely enjoy an unforgetable experience…

  3. leona dit :

If you’re wondering about whether to join the IP or not – STOP NOW and DO IT! Yes, it’s taxing and a great deal is expected of you, but it’s an incredible, stimulating experience which will more than repay what you put into it. The chance to meet so many interesting people from such a range of backgrounds and countries, along with lectures from leaders in the field of Digital Literature, means it’s an opportunity not to be passed over.
